Measured on site, checked against a list
A useful assessment is based on what the building actually uses and how it is wired. Load audits measure consumption at circuit level on site. The result is a scoped recommendation, with cables and protective devices sized to the measured load and, for solar or generator work, capacity sized from real consumption and your backup priorities.
Depending on the job, we look at
- The existing condition of the installation
- Connected loads and estimated demand
- The distribution board and circuits
- Any faults or hazards found on the visit
Three levels of visit
Option 1
Inspection only
An engineer visits, looks at the installation and the job properly, and tells you what happens next.
Option 2
With a written report
The visit plus a written report of what was found. Where an inspection is part of the scope, findings are checked against COREN/NEMSA-referenced checklists on site, with photographs attached to each finding.
Option 3
With electrical plan & drawings
The visit, the written findings and an electrical plan with drawings prepared by the engineer, for homes, commercial and industrial premises. For solar, the design pack is drawn by the engineer and an architect together.

Homes in farther districts
Residential visits in farther districts add ₦30,000 for travel. The booking form shows your exact fee once you choose your area.
House with a BQ
A BQ adds ₦20,000 per BQ room for inspection only, ₦30,000 with a report and ₦50,000 with plan & drawings (up to three rooms).
Repairs and solar
A repair call-out is ₦10,000. The call-out fee is deducted from your repair cost. The engineer finds the fault and quotes the repair on site. The assessment fee is deducted from your installation price if you go ahead.
How to get ready
- Any drawings, bills of quantities or earlier electrical records
- A list of the equipment you run, especially anything large such as air conditioners, pumps or machinery
- Notes on when and where faults happen
- Someone who can give access to the distribution board and the areas to be assessed
Larger commercial, industrial, institutional or development sites can use the project assessment form, which asks for project stage, building size and tender or start dates.
What happens next
Once your payment is confirmed, your appointment and inspection will be carried out within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

Common questions
What is a load audit?
