Kell Electricals Limited (RC 1852579) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights available to you under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation.

When you submit a quote request through this site, we collect the information you provide directly: full name, phone number, email address (optional), job location, property type, urgency, service required, and a description of the job.

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated to disclose it before any such tracking begins.

We process quote request data to respond to your enquiry, assess the job, and provide a quote or arrange a site visit. This is processed on the lawful basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

For active electrical hazard enquiries submitted with an urgency of "emergency," we may process and act on the information immediately to arrange a safety response.

Quote request data is shared with our own staff involved in assessing and responding to the enquiry. Where a quote request is forwarded to a third-party business system for processing (such as a CRM or forms platform), that provider processes the data only on our instructions and is contractually bound to protect it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Quote request data is retained for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and, where the enquiry becomes a confirmed job, for the duration required by our standard business and tax record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not proceed to a confirmed job are retained for a limited period and then deleted.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to: be informed about how your data is processed; access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason for us to continue processing it; object to processing in certain circumstances; and lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe your rights have been violated.
