Kell Electricals Ltd
CCTV & Security Systems

Surveillance systems engineered, not just installed

A surveillance system is only as reliable as the electrical and network infrastructure behind it. We design camera placement for actual coverage needs, run structured cabling and power correctly the first time, and configure recording and remote-access systems for real-world use.

Overview

Coverage designed around your property, not a fixed package

We treat CCTV and security as an electrical engineering problem first: proper camera placement, structured cabling, reliable power, and correctly configured recording and remote access. That’s what makes the difference between a system that works when you need it and one that just looks installed.

Who we serve

Residential

Homes engineered for Nigeria's actual grid conditions, not just the day the wiring passes inspection.

Commercial

Offices and retail fit-outs where an electrical fault means lost trading hours, not just an inconvenience.

Industrial

Factory and plant electrical infrastructure where downtime is measured in production loss, not inconvenience.

Hospitality

Hotels, restaurants, and event venues where guests never see the electrical system, only whether it works.

Education

Schools and training facilities where electrical downtime interrupts instruction, not just inconvenience.

Healthcare

Clinics and healthcare facilities where backup power isn't a convenience, it's a patient-safety requirement.

Retail

Shops and showrooms where lighting quality and uptime directly affect the customer walking through the door.

Our process

Assess, design, install, test & handover

01

Assess

Site survey, load assessment, and diagnostics. We measure the actual conditions before proposing a scope.

02

Design

A specified, documented design against the assessed load: circuit schedules and single-line diagrams, not verbal estimates.

03

Install

Work executed by our certified team to the documented design, with safety isolation and site protocols observed throughout.

04

Test & Handover

Commissioning tests, compliance checks, and as-built documentation handed over. Not just a completed job, a documented one.

Technical considerations

Coverage is a design problem, not a camera count

More cameras positioned badly still leave blind spots. We survey the site and design placement for actual coverage of entry points, perimeter, and specific assets - then size the cabling and power to match.

PoE power and structured cabling matter as much as the camera

A camera is only as reliable as the power and network run behind it. We install Power-over-Ethernet cabling and structured runs correctly the first time, rather than leaving cameras dependent on unreliable Wi-Fi or ad-hoc wiring.

Plan integration up front, not after installation

If you want CCTV working with gate automation, access control, or alarms, that's easier to design in from the start than to bolt on afterward - worth flagging during the site survey.

FAQ

Common questions

View all FAQs →
01

How many cameras do I need?

Depends on the property and what you're trying to cover (entry points, perimeter, specific assets). We do a site survey and propose camera placement for actual coverage needs rather than a fixed package.

02

Can I view footage remotely?

Yes - remote viewing and alert setup on your phone or computer is part of a standard installation, alongside the NVR/DVR recording setup on site.

03

Can CCTV be integrated with gates or access control?

Yes, integration with automated gates and access control is a regular part of our security and automation scope - worth mentioning upfront if you want them working together rather than as separate systems.

Ready to secure your property?

Book a site survey and we'll design coverage for your actual layout, not a generic package.
